TOMATO RASAM

INGREDIENTS:

* Tomatoes - 2-3 medium size

* Ginger - 1" inch (cut into small pieces)

* Coriander leaves - for garnishing

* Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

* Rasam powder - 1 tsp

* Salt - to taste

* Green chilli - small 

* Hing - a pinch

PROCEDURE:

1. Take a sauce pan and put water till half.

2. Cut the tomatoes into small or medium size.

3. Cut the ginger into small pieces.

4. Cut the green chilli into small pieces.

5. Now put the tomatoes into the pan along with ginger, green chilli, pepper powder, rasam powder, hing, coriander leaves and salt.

6. Now boil them till the tomatoes are cooked.

7. Serve hot with rice and ghee.
